This year, undergraduate common entrance exam for design (uceed) was held on 17th January 2021.

Across India students took the exam very enthusiastically.
The questions were divided into two parts: A and B
Part A was online – it had 18 NAT, 18 MSQ, 32 MCQ and in
Part B was pen and paper based.
In the year 2019, 12,414 students took their test and 2,930 of them qualified for the paper.

New exam pattern was introduced in the year 2020 with 12,084 students appeared and only 2,885 qualified of them.
This year most students found the paper to be moderately difficult and lengthy. Drawing section was very lengthy though question was easy. (student’s review).

Numeric questions were difficult in comparison to MSQs and MCQs. Overall Part A was tricky and as UCEED always have negative marking students had to be extra careful with the MCQs.

UCEED results to be declared most likely on 10th March 2021.

At Ideaa Institute of Design (IID), we make sure that the creativity-based questions are solved on a daily basis.
The NAT, MSQ, and MCQ are also solved through various mediums like- pen and paper based mock tests. We have a specially designed portal for online mock tests and solving previous year’s question papers.
The course has been stricter in such a way that along with Uceed the students are trained to crack entrance-exams for WWI, NID, UID, UPES – Dehradun, and many more design colleges.
