Deepak Arora is the backbone and founder of IID. He is very hands-on and a great problem solver.  Having a background of Architecture, post graduation in Industrial Design and working with retail giants in India, he has a great talent for problem solving  even in complex situations. His approach of making the students learn through experimentation works well with students as they are totally free to express and learn in not so typical teaching methodologies. At times he does public service of troubleshooting people's problems, so it’s usual to see him sitting with his students and parents consulting him for guidance and listening to him .

• He has worked with DLF- India, Mukul Goyal, Haathi-Chaap, Cloude Neons, FDAPL.
• Owned a product design firm under which many projects were executed across India.
• Involved in academics since last 4 years because of his passion for teaching.
• Associate Professor at D.Y.Patil-Ambi, Visiting faculty at Symbiosis school of Design.
